Azure architecture & infrastructure
Designing and configuring Microsoft Azure environments: compute, storage, identity, and resource organisation.
Outcome: A cloud environment that is structured, documented, and easier to govern.
Cloud & DevOps
We help businesses deploy with confidence, automate infrastructure, and operate cloud environments with clear visibility into performance, security, and cost.
Ways to engage
Most clients begin with one focused piece of work. Each engagement is scoped in writing before it starts.
A fixed-scope review of an existing environment: architecture, security exposure, backups, monitoring, and deployment process, with prioritised recommendations.
Enquire about thisDesign and implement build, test, and release pipelines, container images, and environment promotion so releases become routine.
Enquire about thisPlan and provision Azure environments, networking, and private connectivity, codified with Terraform where it adds value.
Enquire about thisLoad testing, PostgreSQL analysis, and a review of cloud spend to identify bottlenecks, waste, and right-sizing options.

From a single failing pipeline to a complete cloud environment.
Designing and configuring Microsoft Azure environments: compute, storage, identity, and resource organisation.
Outcome: A cloud environment that is structured, documented, and easier to govern.
Virtual networks, private endpoints, DNS, and secure connectivity between services and environments.
Outcome: Services that talk to each other privately and predictably.
Build, test, and release pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, with environment promotion and approvals.
Outcome: Releases that are routine instead of risky.
Containerising applications and running them consistently across development, staging, and production.
Outcome: The same artefact runs everywhere, which removes a whole class of surprises.
Terraform for repeatable, reviewable infrastructure changes where the environment justifies it.
Outcome: Infrastructure changes that can be reviewed, versioned, and rolled back.
Linux server administration, NGINX reverse proxies, TLS certificates, and HTTPS configuration.
Outcome: Servers that are configured deliberately rather than by accident.
Metrics, logs, alerts, and health checks so problems are visible before customers report them.
Outcome: Earlier warning of problems and faster diagnosis when they happen.
Database maintenance and backup reviews, query analysis, and load testing to find real bottlenecks.
Outcome: Evidence about where time is spent, and a plan to address it.
Reviewing resource usage and spend to identify waste, right-sizing opportunities, and pricing options.
Outcome: A clear picture of what you are paying for and where you have options.
Diagnosing failing deployments and reviewing systems against a practical production-readiness checklist.
Outcome: A prioritised list of risks and the fixes that matter most.
Deliverables
Every engagement ends with artefacts you keep and can use without us: no black boxes and no proprietary tooling.
A clear report of what we found, the risks involved, and a prioritised list of recommendations.
Up-to-date diagrams of your environment, networking, and deployment flow.
Pipelines, infrastructure code, and scripts committed to your repositories, not ours.
Step-by-step procedures for deployments, rollbacks, and common operational tasks.
Walkthrough sessions so your team understands and can operate what was built.
FAQ
Azure is our main cloud platform, but much of the work, including Docker, CI/CD, Linux, NGINX, PostgreSQL, and Terraform, applies across providers. If your environment is elsewhere, tell us and we will be clear about whether we are the right fit.
We do not currently offer 24/7 on-call or managed hosting. We design, automate, and document your environment so your team can operate it, and we can provide ongoing improvement and support during agreed hours.
No. Infrastructure is created in your own cloud accounts, automation lives in your repositories, and we document how everything works.
No honest consultant can guarantee either before looking at your environment. A review gives you evidence: what you are paying for, where risks are, and what each change is likely to achieve.
We ask for the minimum access needed, preferably through individual, time-limited accounts that you can revoke at any time. We never ask for shared administrator passwords.
Describe your environment and what is getting in the way. We will suggest a sensible first step, whether that is a review, a fix, or a longer engagement.
